Winter Outdoors Series
We love Maine Winters!
Through the Winter Outdoors Series, Teens to Trails partners with outdoor organizations and recreation areas across Maine to give students the chance to explore, play, and build community in the winter months. Whether they’re learning new skills, trying a snow activity for the first time, or simply enjoying unstructured time outside, these events help teens experience the joy and connection that come from being outdoors together.
Past years events have included: 140 students skiing and riding completely free @ Black Mountain of Maine thanks to WinterKids, Teens to Trails Winter Skills Day with Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, Indoor Rock Climbing @ Maine Bound Adventure Center and Salt Pump Climbing Gym, and a Winter Day of Play at Hidden Valley Nature Center.
Visit our program calendar below for details on current Winter Outdoors Series programs.
Free ski nights at Black Moutain of Maine on the following Wednesday from 5-9 pm: Jan 14, Feb 4, Feb 11, Feb 25, and Mar 11.
