Save the date! We have secured April 15-16 for our Wilderness First Aid course paired with an Educational Trip Leader Permit training on April 17th. This training will be offered at the Lennox Outdoor Leadership Center on the picturesque Flagstaff Lake in Eustis, ME.
You can attend Wilderness First Aid with or without the Educational Trip Leader Permit training.
CPR is offered optionally for those who wish to add a CPR certification course to the WFA course. Certifications last two years. They are both required for those seeking the Educational Trip Leader Permit.
The Wilderness First Aid is a 16 hour, 2 day program that will introduce you to patient assessment, treatment, and management of injuries in backcountry conditions. You will learn to improvise splints and litters, stop bleeding, and other potentially lifesaving skills.
