Outdoor Partner Program

What does it take to provide a life-changing outdoor experience for a teen?

A place to observe the dark night sky, a safe spot to pitch a tent, a well marked trail or a new friend made while hiking it. Some of these experiences can be had close to home and are easy for a school to provide. But there are other life-enriching experiences that take a bit more planning, travel and preparation - and that is where partnerships can really make a difference.

If you have an outdoor facility, rent gear, lead trips, host groups, teach skills or have something else to offer, we hope you will become a Teens to Trails Partner.

What does “Partner” mean? It simply means that you want to help enrich the lives of Maine middle and high school students by sharing your love of the outdoors and welcoming school Outdoor Clubs to your business. Discounts are always appreciated, but not essential. You deserve to be paid fairly. Clubs host fundraisers and Teens to Trails offers grants.

By filling out the form below your listing will be available to Teens to Trails partner schools. They will contact you directly to set up an outing and we are always here to help coordinate regional events or specific trainings.

What’s in it for you? Bragging rights. Humbling acknowledgement that you are offering Maine youth an experience that will stick with them for a lifetime. Great photo ops. Press exposure from the schools and Teens to Trails. Partner list/logo on this webpage. And a sticker to display at your shop, on your Nalgene, laptop or car bumper, showing you help Maine youth develop a passion for the outdoors.

Thanks for helping.

Young people deserve opportunities to learn in, thrive in and appreciate the outdoors, so they can become informed and engaged champions for our natural resources.
