Meet Hiker Kristyn Kleman

Kristyn during a winter hike.

Kristyn Kleman is a Marine Biologist, a Research Associate at University of Maine, and endurance hiker. This winter, along with her dog Blue, Kristyn plans to hike the Presidential Traverse in New Hampshire’s White Mountains. At 20+ miles and over 8,000 feet elevation gain, the trail is considered one of the most challenging day hikes in New England.

Kristyn has generously offered to hike to raise funds and awareness for Teens to Trails. With each step, she’ll be making it possible for more middle and high school students in Maine to enjoy the outdoors.

Kristyn’s loyal hiking companion, a Husky mix named Blue.

While the date of her hike is determined on weather and conditions, Kristyn is currently seeking donations to support the work we do at Teens to Trails. Visit our donation page to learn more. Thank you! And safe travels, Kristyn!
