Acadia Rendezvous
Join Teens to Trails at Acadia National Park
Acadia Rendezvous was unfortunately canceled due to tropical storm Philippe. We'd like to extend an invitation to our Middle School Camden Campout on October 20-22. This program is designed for middle school students but since we have the entire campground, we'll separate the ages in two different spaces. The upper loop will be for middle schools and the lower loop will be for high schools. We can offer camping, a service project, and night sky exploration with the Bureau of Parks and Lands.
Please contact samantha@teenstotrails.org with any questions.
Teens to Trails is excited to head back to Acadia National Park for the return of Acadia Rendezvous, our signature fall camping weekend for high school Outdoor Clubs. Students will hike, climb, and explore the mountains and coastline of Maine’s only National Park during peak fall foliage.
This program is supported by Acadia National Park and Friends of Acadia
All registered clubs will receive a Resource Guide to assist club members in planning. Please remember that October is a busy time on Mount Desert Island. If your club is interested in booking an experience with a business or guide service, plan ahead.
Due to regulations at Acadia National Park, this program is limited to 70 participants. By registering you are committing to attending. PROGRAM IS FULL.
When: October 6-8, 2023
Where: Acadia National Park, Blackwoods Campground
Cost: $150 per outdoor club
This fall we are experimenting by charging per Club instead of per student to reduce administration and make more time for fun. We welcome your feedback on this change.
Limit: 10 participants per club, including chaperones
Regulations within Acadia National Park limit our group size. Thank you for understanding.
We reserved all the group campsites for this program, and Clubs will be sharing the sites. Please pack simply with this in mind.
Clubs are responsible for their own food and transportation.
Need outdoor gear like hiking boots, insulated layers, sleeping pads/bags, or tent for your students? Reserve gear from Maine Gear Share for free with your Teens to Trails membership!
All participants must complete both waivers prior to the program, arriving with it printed, signed by all necessary parties, and ready for collection during the program check-in process.
